Orchid Daze at the Atlanta Botanical Garden

Yesterday we visited the Orchid Daze at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. A must see! Gorgeous hanging gardens with Orchids of all imaginable colors, shapes and fragrances (even a stinky Orchid that attracts flies by simulating the odor of decaying meat). A sky dance of Phalaenopsis, Paphiopedilum, Miltoniopsis and many many many more. With this beautiful weather there is no better place in Atlanta to have a colorful and peaceful day than the Botanical Gardens.

While over there, why not buying a live orchid from local grower and get advice on how to take care of it from the experts? We meet Ms. Barbara June from Peach State Orchids, who explained to us in detail how to take care of our home orchids. She has extraordinary orchids and deals from as little as $10 dollars. Visit the Orchid Market during the weekends February 4 – 5, March 3 – 4, April 7 -8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
